Is it mandatory to sign on an Aadhar card photocopy while submitting?
It is not mandatory but in our own interest to mention the following while giving photocopy of Aadhaar either for KYC or any other purposes: Mention the following without fail: Purpose: KYC requirement for opening of account with ABC Bank. Date: Place: Self Attested : signatures and date . When you write purpose , some part of purpose should appear on the body of Aadhaar Copy. By doing this , misuse can be prevented. If you give a copy just like that , same can be misused and as an ex banker I must tell you that there have been many such instances . So always do as suggested above
